The risks related to the oil industry are plentiful and devastating. Gaz explosions, hydrocarbon fires, tanker accidents, illegal degassing, tearing and leaking of pipelines, etc. The body of work that makes the exhibition REVENGE is based on oil disasters, our black tides.
My engaged artistic work proposes sculptures and contemporary jewelry. This visual appeal wants to go beyond the initial negative impressions to push the reflection further. The Oil wants to provoke and get revenge on the initial offender, HUMAN. This artistic approach confronts the one who sees into a changeover. It wants to create a swaying, a change of opinion regarding the effects of black tides.
REVENGE aims to raise awareness upon our irresponsible and outrageous environmental practices.
The seashore may stay polluted for decades, but HUMAN can die quickly of entanglement.
